Legal Question in Business Law in California
NOTE: The names mentioned here are FICTITIOUS: I have a community organization that has been meeting and using the same name (e.g. Community Realization Practice Fellowship, CRPF) for more than 15 years. We incorporated as a non-profit organization about 3 years ago. Some ex-members have created another group about 5 years ago and have trademarked the name Realization Practice Fellowship. Can they make us change our name if we refuse to pay them an annual fee?
