What does this mean: However notwithstanidng any provision hereof to the contrary, the folllowing shall govern: Any indemnification shall be fully subordinated to any obligations respecting the Company property and shall not constitute a claim against the company in the event that cash flow is insufficient to pay such obligations

Best guess is, "We don't have to pay you if we don't feel like it." Don't sign before having the entire contract reviewed by a lawyer.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. Contracts are not interpreted by the courts, or by competent attorneys, by reading clauses in isolation. The entire document is read, reading the clauses in context.
