Legal Question in Business Law in California
online survey questionnaries, false info
I have heard people claim that they use false information for online surveys and questionnaires, and in response to this I have heard some say that this is illegal, and others say that it is not.
So, my question is, is the usage of false information in these questionnaires (especially address and phone number) illegal? Also, when asked for their name, is it illegal for them to use an alias instead of their legal name?
Thank you for your response.

Re: online survey questionnaries, false info
If all you are worried about is getting busted over the answers you gave to some online survey, maybe you're not breaking enough laws.
