Legal Question in Business Law in California
What Options Do I have?
Recently I found posted on an industry bulletin board comments by a potential customer of ours saying I, in technical sales, was difficult to reach and they were only able to contact me once. They also said when they contacted me I was ''not knowledgeable''. I checked my email logs and it shows that the customer had actually emailed me over 20 times and I have replied back to all emails with knowledgeable answers. This posting probably has and will probably continue to hurt our sales. Do I or my company have any legal options here? I am located in Florida and the customer is in California.

Re: What Options Do I have?
One of the best options you have is to tell your side of the story. Taking the time to put together a web page that shows your understanding of the facts and that uses metatags to rank higher in the search engines would probably be cheaper and more efficient than litigation.
That said, yes, it appears that you have the right to sue, based on the facts that you have described.
