not paid for services rendered
i work for a plumbing company, we went to a service call to repair gas pipe due to leak in attic. And have never been paid for job. No signatures from customer on file. can i file a lien against the home? or must i pursue in small claims, or do i even have a leg to stand on.

For most small jobs, you are better off going to small claims court. Mechanic's liens expire after 90 days unless you file a lawsuit in Superior Court to enforce the lien.
If you get a small claims judgment, you can place a judgment lien on the persons's home that is much better than a mechanic's lien. You can also have the small claims trial in about 4-6 weeks form the date you file the lawsuit.
