Legal Question in Business Law in California
Never paid for last week of work
I quit my job. i gave my boss 1 weeks
notice that i wouldnt be working with
them anymore. I usually recieve my pay
checks on a weekly basis. I turned in my
last clock in sheet and have been
waiting for my pay checks. I've
contacted my boss many times through
email but i have not recieved anything
back. How can i get my money? can i
sue them for not compensating me for
the last week that i worked?

Re: Never paid for last week of work
You need to file a complaint with the DLSE. In doing so you will be able to collect any money that is owed to you. You may also be able to recover penalties.
If you need any further help, contact me via email.
