Legal Question in Business Law in California
former partner in security business owes back monies and state fees.
Business started without a written contract and I charged items for the business on my cards-$14,000. EED now harrassing me for payment on unpaid state fees owed by the business. I have received no monies on debt or back wages and am having to pay EED. Former partner closed the business after I left and promised to pay but no money.
What is the cheapest way to get my money- I am left with nothing?
