Legal Question in Business Law in California
Partnership
I have recently been offered a partnership at my firm (securities industry) and am interested in having a qualified professional review the terms. Specifically, I would like to better understand the nature of the parntership, with a pariticular emphasis on the extent to which I will be subjecting myself to potential liabilities, if any. Is there a specific practice focus that I should be looking to for help (e.g. employment law, business law, etc.)?

Re: Partnership
You should consult an attorney familiar with partnership law in general and with the securities industry in particular. Your potential liability will be strongly affected by federal and state securities laws.
