using photo images on megazine
is it against the law if I use photos on well known megazine ---like listing photos of movie stars wearing specific brand named clothing on my online clothing store?

Doing what you describe would violate the magazine's copyright (and possibly that of the photographer or his assignee) as well as the movie stars' rights of publicity. You would potentially be subject to ruinous lawsuits.
