Legal Question in Business Law in California

If I am doing a photoshoot and a model changes her mind and doesn't want to finish the shoot I cannot afford to pay her for the time she was there is this ok?

Why didn't she want to finish the shoot? This is abnormal. You must have irritated her somehow. Tell us the whole story, the same way it would come out in court after both sides put on their evidence and did cross-examination. Then maybe we can predict who wins.
