Legal Question in Business Law in California
Promotion compensation
I was promoted 5 weeks ago at
work. I have yet to be given a raise
and I have reminded my employer
multiple times. When I eventually
do recieve it, is my employer legally
responsible to back pay me? What
are my rights to this compensation
and what is the most professional
way to deal with this issue?

Re: Promotion compensation
Unfortunately, unless you are a government employee, the only thing you can do about your fancy-new-title-only promotion is to get another job. Good luck!
