Legal Question in Business Law in California
What is the proper way to vacate a stipulation that post-trial motions would be filed within 30-days of the jury verdict which occurred August 29th? Instead of commencing a 30-day post-trial timeline upon day of jury verdict, I wish to commence post-trial motions timeline upon Notice of Entry of Judgment. Motion for New Trial on Issue of Damages & Motion for Legal Costs will be lost unless this stipulation is changed asap...tomorrow, Friday, is last court day of the 30-day stipulation.

Why don't you just file a notice of intention to move for a new trial by tomorrow? It is a simple two (2) page affair. It is little more than a caption page with a proof of service attached.
