Legal Question in Business Law in California
Is there any protection for me if i want to work with an overseas web designer.
(I'm from the US and the company is from India)
The web designer i am working with has an extensive portfolio and reputable site.
I am worried about the risks involving the designer not coming through and just keeping the money.
Are contracts and NDAs enforceable?
Thank you

First, I would strongly recommend having a written agreement with the overseas web designers. It should be an International Contract and also you definitely should have an NDA. This would be more complicated than a standard contract and NDA, however, it should be drafted before you commence further. As with any agreement there are risks of breach and you may also be able to protect yourself with payment options written into the agreement. Hope this is of assistance. www.williammichaelfrantz.com
