Purchase of a vehicle - Transfer of tittle has not been completed
I bought a used vehicle about 3 1/2 months ago from a dealer. Since the 3 1/2 months have received no tittle or registrations. I have talked to the DMV and they conveyed that no paper work has been received to transfer the tittle. I have talked to the dealer and have not gotten any response. Can I rescind the buy contract? What actions can I take?

Re: Purchase of a vehicle - Transfer of tittle has not been completed
If you could get the transfer would you still like to keep the vehicle? If the dealership is simple ignoring your requests it may be necessary to have an attorney write a few letters stating that you are planning to sue them for breach of contract and if they do not provide you with the transfer than you will be forced to file a lawsuit. If you want to return the vehicle the letter could state the same only you want a refund or you will sue them. You will be suprised at how effective this can be and the cost is minimal.
