Legal Question in Business Law in California
I have a question concerning board meetings and directors meetings for corporations.
Is a stockholder allowed to bring a lawyer with him to board meetings in an advisory manner?
Is a direct allowed to bring a lawyer with him to directors meetings in an advisory manner?
If possible, I would greatly appreciate if you could answer this question much sooner than later

A Director would be allowed to bring a lawyer with him/her; however that lawyer would be there only to represent the director in their individual capacity. With respect to the stockholder bringing his/her lawyer, it would depend upon the nature of the meeting but in general yes. A review of the corporations by-laws would be helpful. If you would like more information, please feel free to contact me.
