i have received judgment on 3/6/12 how long do i have before i can ask for attorney fees?

Well you can't get attorney's fees if you represented yourself. If you have an attorney, did you ask him or her?

Under California Rules of Court 3.1702, the notice of motion for attorney's fees must be filed on or before the time runs to file a notice of appeal. Rule 3.1702 also refers you to the various rules that help you figure out when the notice of appeal must be filed.
