Legal Question in Business Law in California
refund
I cancelled my Internet service and was charged again after the date of cancellation due to the ISPs error. As I was not expecting to get charged again, my account was overdrawn and charged a bank fee. Is the ISP responsible by law to reimburse the bank charge in addition to refunding the money that the ISP mistakenly withdrew? And if so, how would I go about collecting that money?

Re: refund
Yes, if the ISP at issue proximately caused your legal damages here, you are absolutely entitled to prompt reimbursement. You would collect by having an out of court demand letter sent, and then filing a court complaint to remedy the situation if the ISP is non-responsive.
