Legal Question in Business Law in California

HI! I registered an LLC sole proprietorship in Wyoming in 2020 as an actor and producer called Outbackzack Media Group LLC. I created an animal trapping and relocation business in California with a D.B.A Outbackzack's Nuisance Animal Removal so we could film the work for TV shows, using sub-contractors. These sub-contractors are now being deemed as employees so we have been told that we either need to register the Wyoming LLC as a Foreign LLC in California to do business there or register a new LLC in California. My question is what do I need to do to operate Outbackzack's Nuisance Animal Removal in California i.e. that is the best option. I.e. Should I register as a foreign LLC in California? How do I use the business name Outbackzack's Nuisance Animal Removal there with the foreign LLC name? Or is it cheaper and easier to register a new LLC in California and will that allow us to use the name Outbackzack's Nisance Animal Removal as a D.B.A. of the LLC?

Business entity formation and structure is no more place for amateur hour than trapping a rabid raccoon. You might get it right, You might get it right a few times. But eventually one is gonna turn on you and bite your a** with dire consequences. A decent business entities and formation lawyer costs far less than screwing it up. Get professional help.
