Registering a Trade Name

I am a small business owner who has been developing a nitch market in a fairly large and growing field; i.e. background verifications. I would like to know how to register two (2) trade names that we intend to use extensively in the conduct of this business.

You can register trademarks by filing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. More information is available at their website: http://www.uspto.gov
