Thinking of starting a male escort service or a male house cleaning service, both catered towards
hetrosexual women. There is no sex for sale, only male companionship for women and/or a clean home. Is this idea for a small home based business a legal idea? Is it possible to combine these two ideas under one business name. Please let me know what the legallities are as far as regulations, laws, codes, and licenses. This will be either a sole propierter or partnership home business starting with only one employee. I live in San Diego, ca.

If the business is to be conducted in San Diego I think you need local advice as many of the regulations would be at the city level. You need to talk to a business insurance advisor about fully insuring yourself including workers comp and various liability issues.
There are some state laws affecting dating services, see e.g. Civil Code section 1694 - 1694.4 re rescission of dating service contracts.
It is permissible to operate differing business activities under a single name.
Be sure to get basic city licenses, register your fictitious business name(s), apply for a federal tax ID number, and keep books. You definitely need insurance and you should be careful to hire, train and supervise your employees well so that you minimize personal or business liability for any claim of negligence arising from their field work on your company's behalf.
