renewal of judgement
Should the original case number appear on any judgement renewal or will it show a new case number on the renewal?

Re: renewal of judgement
Generally renewal of a judgment will not result in a new case number. There are, however, limited circumstances where that will occur.
Generally this arises when there has been a change in the manner of identifying cases, or a shift in the handling court.
I have had had several cases take on new case numbers upon renewal.

Re: renewal of judgement
Renewals bear the original case number. Renewing a judgment does not start a new case, so the court will not issue a new case number.
