Whether the owner can terminate the rental or not, and how much advance notice he's required to give, depends entirely upon your agreement (contract) by which you came into possession and operation of the business. Most well-drafted agreements will have wel thought out provisions covering grounds for termination or early termination and for termination due to the lessor's or lessee's default. A decent business-rental agreement should afford a degree of protection to the renter/tenant. When you say "kick me out," this suggests either breach of the agreement by one or the other of you (but which ???) or a poorly-written agreement.
