Legal Question in Business Law in California
Repair shop did not fix the right thing on my car
We took our car to a shop and told the owner/mechanic that we thought our cross member was cracked and that we needed him to find out everything that was wrong with the front end. He said there was no crack. We spent 280 dollars on a idler arm, a tie rod end, 2 new tires and an alignment. # days later the cross member broke because of the crack and we are now out 280 dollars and our front end is still broken. Is the mechanic responsible?

Probably. You would need another mechanic to go to small claims court with you to testify on the negligence
