Legal Question in Business Law in California
I run a small business exporting electronic products to Asia. I happen to have a supplier in California who I don't have a formal signed contract with. However, I have his promises in his emails stating that he would never sell direct to my customers and also would never allow my customers come directly to him for his products. I wonder if the email promises really bind. If they do, are they as good as a written one? Thanks.

This agreement should be in a more formal format to include all the provisions, legal exceptions (if any) and a real signature.
