Legal Question in Business Law in California
Sabotage
What can I do to protect myself?? I am recently a new store manager of a retail store. My assistant manager has not been supportive of me so far, he was in charge temporarily but did not get the position. He left a check out of the deposit, I found it on my desk the next morning. When I brought it up to him he glared at me....The following week two deposits that he handled were short. My gut feeling is that he is trying to set me up?? What can I do to protect myself in this situation, especially when the store has no cameras??I need some advice!!!

Re: Sabotage
You need to put the human resource department, or other such department, depending on the size of the retail outlet, on actual notice of what is transpiring, along with your concerns. If you would like further assistance, contact us directly hereafter.
