scapegoat firing what rights do i have

i work as a clerk at a big hotel firm. i did not check in these clients that were arrested on the property.but they aresay i was affiliated with them. firing me and keeping my check. i was a resident aty the hotel supposedly under corprate rates. they are now saying i owe full price for the last week of work. they forced me and my family to leave right away. we had nothing to do with this.

The law requires your employer to pay your wages owed within a short time after terminating your employment. Depending on the employer's reasoning, you might have a claim for wrongful termination, too. You should see a local attorney at your earliest convenience.

They have multiple violations, keeping your checking, not giving eviction notice; see a lawyer right away.
