Legal Question in Business Law in California
securities law
our company is in the beginning stages of "angel investor" financing. our "advisor" has suggested doing a "friends and family" round of investment in the interim. he mentioned sections of 500-508, section 4.2, etc. i have done some researching, but would like more info or advice on the intricacies of selling stock to "friends and family".

Re: securities law
You are in a complex area of the law, with potential significant penalties if you err, and an attorney cannot give you a paragraph or two guide. You need to consult
a business or securities attorney with your specific plan in mind: amount to be paid for stock; relationship (both
by blood/marriage and whether associated with you in the past); states of residence, etc.
