I want to be a self-employed personal trainer. Is it legal for me to require my clients to join me in prayer during the session insofar as I receive their consent prior to them agreeing to pay for sessions?

Well, you can't falsely imprison someone and make them do what they don't want to do. This being said, if you inform your prospective clients that prayer (identifying, of course, which celestial entity you ascribe to) is a component of the training, you're good.

If they consent and this is a private business, there is no problem.
