Legal Question in Business Law in California
I sell bikes to independent bike dealers all over the country. I have a dealer that wants me to stop selling to another dealer in his area. What legal issues will I have to consider?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Well, you have no duty to this dealer unless you do in some other way like through a written agreement.
No one here could offer any actionable advice because it is very fact specific.
I suggest that you consult with a lawyer in private and discuss your objectives in more detail. You can start by calling around to several for a free phone consultation, get some insights then pick the best fit to work with.
Kind regards,
