I served a notice of motion on an attorney via mail but I forgot to include the proof of service.
Is there a remedy?
Must I reserve?

More important, did you attach a POS to the copy you sent to the court for filing? If not, it will be rejected. If only to opposing attorney, I would get a copy in his/her hands as soon as possible. I send them unsigned, on the theory that at the time of mailing it only states your intention and not a completed act.
