Legal Question in Business Law in California
I signed an advertising contract for shopping cart advertising for a company based in Texas. I'm in California but want to back out of the contract. The contract states that is "non-cancelable" IS there such a think and can it be enforced?

Read The Friendly Contract. If the contract says it's non-cancelable, well, you should have consulted a lawyer before you signed it, or not signed it at all. Maybe there is some Texas law that would help you (does the Friendly Contract say which state's law applies?) but I don't know what the law is in Texas. My best guess is no.
