Legal Question in Business Law in California

Hi, I'm trying to start a business, It's going to be an online website to sell stuff, It's going to be just me, I might ask some other people to help me out later on remotely and expand my online business..

1. do I need to register a company for that! if yes LLC is the best option to go with or ..?

2. Can I run this business from my apartment, my land lord is ok with it but how about Zoning (I'm in Gardena 90249) don't know how to check that with city or ...

3. Do I need a sell (or resell) permit !

These are fairly specific questions that you should probably discuss in person with an attorney. It would not be possible to tell you what type of entity you should choose to operate your business in this forum. As for zoning issues, contact the city and ask, although you could probably operate a home based business without ever even asking them. A resale license might be required depending on what you are planning to do.
