Legal Question in Business Law in California
hi, I am going to start an eco consulting company for resident/home owners. I would be just giving the homeowners names of products and where to get them to replace what they have or include new ideas. I keep thinking what type of protection or waiver do I need in place for if I suggest these eco-alternatives and something goes wrong?

I recommend that you consult with an attorney to draft a waiver along with a boilerplate contract for you to use with your services. Additionally, you may want to consider establishing a limited liability business entity to protect your personal assets from business liabilities. If you want to talk about this more, feel free to give me a call for a free consultation.
