Legal Question in Business Law in California
Stolen
I just reacently had three tools stolen out of my garage that was subcontracted to me to be reparied. I do not have a bus licence and I need to know if I am liable for the equipment or is the person with the business responsible. I also need to know if I have to pay for new equipment because the equipment stolen was used and broken.
thank you

Re: Stolen
As the "bailee" for the property you had a duty to use reasonable care to protect them. Call your business insurance carrier and report the loss.
