straw purchase

I would like to purchase a car for a family member who is going through a tuff time. I know if they dont pay I will be responsiable for the payment. Can I do this with my good credit?

Don't ever cosign. Every day we get letters from people who did this and who regret it. Your family member has already burned the banks and credit card companies, and you're next.
