Legal Question in Business Law in California
Subpoena for information
Hello,
I received a subpoena from attorneys suing a company whose affiliate program I have signed up for in the past and which service I advertise on my website in exchange for commissions for sales generated by referred traffic.
According to the subpoena, they want me to provide them with a copy of all checks I have received from the sued company so they can obtain the company's bank account information.
I am required to comply, right? Is there anything else I need to do?
Your opinion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Provide copies of front and back of the check and retain the originals, unless they come to your place of business and copy them right then and there.
Also, sign the declaration that they should provide you stating that those are all the records you have.
