Legal Question in Business Law in California

Substandard pool work & repairs

Last March we had our swimming pool fiberglassed by a licensed state contractor. The work they did was substandard & although they have returned on 3 seperate occasions (and the 80,000 gallon pool had to be drained all 3 times!), the final result remains substandard & unsatisfactory. Before we began to have the blistering & peeling and immediately after they completed the installation, they were paid for the work, $4300.00. It now looks like we will have to take them to small claims court to resolve the problem. My question is this--their bonding company, who I want to have named in the lawsuit, is Frontier Pacific Life Insurance Co., out of La Hoya, Ca. How do I serve them? I already have the agent of service for the pool company but I can't seem to find out how to serve the bonding company to have them involved also. Any advise would be appreciated.

Re: Substandard pool work & repairs

You need to call the CA Secretary of State in Sacramento. They can tell you the agent for service.
