Legal Question in Business Law in California

Who do I sue????

Hi

We had an auction company aucton off some of our computer equipment and they never paid us. I want to take them to Small Claims Court but I'm unsure as to who to sue. The company is a Public (Shareholder) Company. Do I sue the registered agent or the CEO?

Thanks in advance....

Re: Who do I sue????

If you are sure the company is a corporation (which is assumed when you use the term "public (shareholder) company," you will need to sue using the name of the corporation. You will need to serve the complaint on the "registered agent," of the corporation before the small claims suit can proceed.
