Can i be suspend for not showing up to work on a day that is not posted

Probably. Unless you work under a contract, such as a personal employment contract or a union collective bargaining agreement, your employer can fire you for a good reason, or for no reason at all, but not for a bad reason (discrimination, etc.). So, I'd think the lesser disciplinary step of a suspension would also be permissible. You are also free to resign.
