Legal Question in Business Law in California

"Tip-Off or Rip-Off"

Dear Sir, I recently paid a server mebmasters to design a website for me and to post it.We signed a contract but I do not feel that they are living up to their end. When I checked the www, I found out that the server had placed my website in their name as ownership. I paid him $2500 to design the web but not to own it. The domain name is mine and all contents are mine and I am responsible for all matters related even the I.R.S. Should I just call the server and tip my hand or rely on a legal president to correct this matter?

Re:Web site ownership

Q. I paid him $2500 to design the web but not for

correct this matter?

A. Sooner or later you are going to have to confront

the server and you need information. Check your

written paperwork/contract and WRITE to the server

and state your position. He will tell you his

and you can act accordingly.
