Legal Question in Business Law in California
I got a title loan in California over my car, I want to pay off the full amount, in my contract there is no pre-payment penalty. I went to pay it off yesterday, I only have three payments left they had that info there. They would not take my payment and give me a paid in full receipt, they said they have to wait for a payoff amount. They said they would have the payoff amount this morning, when I called this morning they said it would be at 11am, I call an hour later and they say they'll call me right back but they don't. They keep giving me the run around. I googled their business and nothing comes up. They are lien holders on my car. What recourse do i have?
