Legal Question in Business Law in California
I was told that my payment was not going to be acceptable. They only wanted the car returned to them and had another family member who can take over payments. Any monies I give was going to be returned to me. They no longer wanted to continue the contract because of one late payment in 4 years I had possession of the car. So if they are refusing my car payments then is the contract over and I just have to return the car or wait for them to sue me? I feel like I am being set up to be sued?

As my previous answer implies, your missed or late payment probably won't invalidate the contract.
