towing companies

recently my car was towed & while it was stored in the tow company lot it was vandalized & severely damanaged is the tow company responsible? is there any legal recourse i can take to make them fix the damages that occured to my car while in their care?

Damage in such situations is likely covered by the tow company's liability insurance. If they refuse to pay or file a claim on their policy, assuming you have comp. coverage on your policy, you may want to turn it into your insurance and let them collect any amount they can from the tow company.

If all else fails, you may consider small claims court, but be mindful of the small claim court claim limits.

Tow companies are also regulated, so you can also pursue a complaint against them with their licensing agency, which should mentioned in your paperwork.
