Legal Question in Business Law in California

Tuttle Click Toyota, Irvine Problems

I leased a car for my wife and when negotiating the car deal was supposed to include Crome rims whick took about two months to finally get after many of hours of fighting. We never received the one's we were promised in the first place. We were also supposed to have the tage and first month paid for and of course they didn't recall. When going into financing I shared my concern and Vince said not to worry. Of course they didn't recall making the deal with me. When filling out the paper work me and my wife were asked if we would like the Lo Jack system on special for $200.oo. We came to find out that we paid $595.oo, of course agian they didn't recall and it must of been a misunderstanding. After more debating we were given $300.oo back but were still at a loss of $3000.oo or so and 40+ hours of personal time. My biggest mistake was I had nothing in writting, I have purchased 5 Fords in the past 6 years and have never had this problem. I would like to take action, but am not sure what I can do about this, now I have had the car for almost 4 months and have to call them every month to receive a payment slip, I am tiered of investing my time in this car, I have been taken advantage of and I would like to put a stop to it.

Re: Tuttle Click Toyota, Irvine Problems

A verbal contract is just a valid as a written contract. However, it would be your word against theirs. I have sued dealerships for various wrong doings such as breach of warranty and just plain fraud. I would suggest suing them not just for your damages of $3000 but for your time. If you are interested in suing them or having me write a letter threatening a lawsuit unless they pay you for your time and the $3000 in damages I would be happy to discuss your options with you. My toll free number is 877-546-9918. The call and consultation are free. I look forward to speaking with you.
