Legal Question in Business Law in California
Is the "United States of America" a country or a corporation? I am a paralegal and I have been doing research into the sovereign citizen movement. Thank You

It's a country. And while I don't know everything the "sovereign citizen" movement teaches, I have seen a number of their claims. Every one of them was completely wrong. The movement is nonsense. Don't waste your time or money researching it, and don't risk your finances, your freedom, or any of your other interests by relying on the things they tell you.
