Unsigned Notes
My husband and I work for the same public agency. We have both received, at work, unsigned notes accusing him of things he has not done on the job. These notes have been left for his supervisor, and have been mailed to me at my office. He has witnesses for the times he supposedly did these things, so his supervisor knows it's not true. Now I'm receiving notes saying he has anger problems, is ''pissing people off'' and needs help. Our Administration has the notes (we kept copies), but does not seem to be taking action. No blanket policy statements have been issued, no warnings, they just say ''we're looking into it.'' So far, the notes have not threatened him physically, but the fact that they are now seeking me out for these notes makes us even more nervous. What, if anything, can be done?

Re: Unsigned Notes
Speaking as a former state attorney who prosecuted Skelly hearings, I am sure your employer is very interested in whomever is sending the notes. Understand that they will not be able to tell you about the status of their investigation. Be patient.
