Legal Question in Business Law in California
vendor contract
Im having a small business networking event at my home. There will be several vendors selling their merchandise. I'd like to charge a small fee for set-up and expenses. Can I do this with an independent contractor contract? Thanks

Re: vendor contract
Yes, but you still have to be VERY careful on how the independent contractor's form is worded and know you may still have ultimate liability regardless. So, just be careful all the way around. However, a well worded independent contractor agreement can provide you with VERY strong protection.
