Legal Question in Business Law in California
Verbal Contract
I won a small claims suit for $7500, they appealed. In Superior Court, can I sue for the $8700 I lost, and for the potential income I lost due to their breaking our verbal contract?

Re: Verbal Contract
No. The appeal will be a re-trial of your original small claims action. The $7,500 limit on small claims suits will still apply.
