Legal Question in Business Law in California
I will be sourcing products (canola oil, soy bean kernels, etc.) for a business that is headquartered in one of the former Soviet Union countries. The company is "connected" to the government of the country. Once I find the right product at the right price, etc, and they are in agreement I will have the foreign company sign an agreement that stipulates that I (or my California incorporated company which markets general merchandise products in the USA but does not do any foreign business) will be paid___% on all purchases of the products I have referred to them. Typically the purchase of products is contractual for 12 months with renewability. Please advise the best type of international contract to use in this case.

Sounds like a scam to me. Don't send them money for any reason. How did you meet these people? Do you have the capability of suing them in Russia if the deal goes bad?
