Legal Question in Business Law in California
using the word bankers in business name and not be a bank. Is that legal?

Yup, as long as it does not create a likelihood of confusion. A great bar years ago in Menlo Park, that may still be there, was called the British Banker's Club, just by way of example. No British, no bankers, not a true club, but no one expected any of the three to be true anyway.
